this means download the newest most sensational super happy mega plasma bouncepad trickjump terrific movie from OPC. b3nt has done it again, by rounding up a shitload of trickers and saying "hey go nuts for 15 seconds ok?" and they did. including myself, SiT, Micheal Flatley, the elustrious Purgatory and Sinister, and tons of amazing trickers you would never have heard of if it was not for this wonderfull video. please send b3nt a dollah, he deserves it!!

Mirror One -Mirror Two - Mirror Three

next its time for some european insanity from, you guessed it, team blue -purg and sin. i really like what they have done with their new video called "The Motion theory". a community production all the way. while the editing and video quality isnt the highest you've seen, the tricking is right up there, some seriously original stuff in this vid, go check it out.

Public service announcement on use and playing of demos.

Heres the big fat demos section. Eventually, there will be a fully Searchable database, but mysql has to be learned first. Could be a while ;p Anyway, for now im pretty much just going to do a demo of the week thing, and a contest of the month thing. So each of those is found below, along with archives and such.

If you are a big fat newbie and dont know anything about demos, here is the quick explaination of how to play them:
1) Download and extract (with winzip or winrar ) the demo file to your Quake 3\baseq3\demos folder, if you dont have a demos folder, make one.
2) If you are using version 1.17, simply run quake, and click on demos, then click on the demo name, and watch it. NOTE: it must be a .dm3 demo ( example cooljump.dm3 ), or else it wont be compatable.
3) If you are using version 1.27, life sucks. You now have to be using a .dm_48 demo, and you have to remember the filename and type it in like this at the console "/demo coojump.dm_48", the menu wont work. Thank id for that blunder. NOTE: Go download geekplay, by bds @ xsreality.com. I personally recommend it, as it makes life alot easier, full instructions and download, click here

Teamplay

DM6

a popular 1vs1 and tdm map. always been there, and people keep finding new jumps. probably one of the better trickjumping maps out there, due to wide gaps and high platforms that make the possiblities near endless.

dm7

another moldy oldy. this map sucks for trickjumps. sure, its packed with lame ledges and areas to camp from, but there is almost no skill based jumps on the entire map. everyone knows the normal ones, but since its one of the main maps, i gota post it.

dm14

really good trickjump map. lots of usefull jumps and lots of useless jumps as well as a couple of map bugs that are fun. excellent teamplay map, so you get a chance to use the jumps and show off.

dm12

drpd's favorite trickjump map. soooo many jumps.....arrrrrrrrahhggg. anyway, its good because the map is really well made, and it just seems to be just right. since its starting to be more of an important teamplay map, we are seeing more an more tricks. definatly the most fun to trick. go!

cpm4

cpm4 is a really new tdm map, and is making some waves. the challenge us competition for trickjumps on this map brought out a few good ones. khaile even built a bunch in hoping people would find them, well they did, and found a hell of a lot more.

1 vs 1

ztn3dm1

ztn is a pretty cool map. a few people have told me there are not many trickjumps on it though, so i took 2 hours and owned the bitch. here are some of the cooler demos that i pulled out of the session. only a couple are good for actual use. i saw a couple from before (in actual use), but i made a bunch up too. one really hard one.
